October 2009As the leaves start changing, we hope that you are enjoying the cooler mornings and evenings. Don't forget to watch the balloons floating by on your morning run! 
What better way is there to spend a Sunday morning than riding your bike 35 miles, eating as many cookies as you possibly can, and watching the last day of the Balloon Fiesta from the Northeast Heights? On October 11th, join us for the 2009 Tour de Cookie, a 35 mile bike event where you sample cookies and raise money for 9 different charities and organizations. With an entry fee of only $40 (lower-priced team entries are available too!), you get $25 in cookie bucks to spend at the various stops. The race starts at 8 am. To register, come to ABQ Running Shop on Saturday from 12 pm-5 pm, or on race morning from 7 am-8 am. For more information, please visit the Tour De Cookie website.
