October 2009The Duke City Marathon is this Sunday. We're having some great specials in the store for the big weekend! On Friday, Saturday, and even Sunday, stop by for the following deals: Make your own apparel sale: bring in this e-mail for 20% of ANY piece of apparel, including all new winter wear. On Saturday, October 24th is the Rock 'n' Run for the U on the UNM campus. This is a 5k race. If you can't run, but would like to volunteer, please reply to this e-mail! Sunday, November 8th is World Run Day. We're going to have a group run leaving ABQ Running Shop for a trail run. We'll leave around 8 a.m. and have pacers going between 5 and 10 miles, depending what you would like to do. It will be a casual, easy paced run, so all levels and abilities are invited. The Veteran's Day 11k is on Sunday, November 15th. This is put on by the Albuquerque Road Runners. The start and finish is at Kit Carson park.
