August 2009Tax Free Weekend on August 7th, 8th, and 9th It's time for the annual tax free weekend! From Friday, August 7th through Sunday, August 9th, all shoes and clothing under $100 will be tax free. We will also be having some great apparel specials, including select apparel at 50% off. Sale shoes will start at $50, so this is a great time to get a second pair to put in your shoe rotation. Help the Central New Mexico Susan G Komen Race for the Cure 
Throughout the three days of the tax free weekend, mention this e-mail to have 15% of your purchase benefit the Central New Mexico Susan G. Komen affiliate. The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure (on September 13th here in Albuquerque) is the largest grassroots movement to help those with breast cancer. 75% of all money raised stays here for local grants and 25% goes to research. Unfortunately, we are unable to combine the 15% donation with any other discount, coupon, or promotion. Don't forget about the ABQ Cross Country Classic on August 16th. Early registration ends on Sunday, August 9th. This 5kish course only costs $20 ($15 if you are a student). Register in the shop or at Active.com.
