Thanksgiving Cross Country Classic
Don't forget to register for the 2009 Thanksgiving Cross Country Classic! This fun, family friendly event, that takes place on a European style course in Reid Park, will help jump start your Thanksgiving appetite. Offering a Women's 5K at 8:00 am, the Men's 5K at 8:45 am, and the Co-Ed 1.5 Mile Fun Run at 9:30 am. You may register and/or pick up your packet during normal business hours beginning this Saturday, through Wednesday evening at 6 pm. Race day registration is from 7:00 am to 8:00 am. Please remember that we must close ALL race registration at 8:00 am. Don't forget to bring a toy for Toys for Tots!

Black Friday Specials
We will be jump starting our Black Friday in honor of the Thanksgiving Cross Country Classic. Beginning tomorrow, Saturday the 21st, we will offer 20% off ALL apparel, 40% off our apparel sale rack, and our sale shoes discounted an additional 10%. These prices will continue through Saturday, November 28. This is a great opportunity to buy that special someone in your life (maybe even yourself) some new running apparel.
In addition, Campbell Village is offering a Stress Free Black Friday. We won't have flashing lights with announcements of big screen tv specials for the next 10 minutes. What we will have, on Friday the 27th from noon until 3 pm, is free massage from Edward Arriola, AriesSun Massage, gift wrapping, music, free refreshments and lots of good deals. Last year's first Buy Local Day took place on Black Friday with the support of Mayor Walkup and Vice Mayor Uhlich in cooperation with Local First Arizona. Local First wants you to know that when you support a local business, 45 cents of every dollar stays in your community - versus only 13 cents of every dollar spent at a national chain.
